A classic Speyside single malt, Aberlour 12 Year Old is famed for its Double Cask Maturation. The spirit is matured separately for 12 years in both traditional oak (ex-bourbon) casks and the finest Oloroso sherry butts. These whiskies are then brought together (married) before bottling. This process results in a balanced whisky known for its smooth character, rich sherry influence, and interplay of fruity and spicy notes.
